A key element in dog training is communicating effectively with your dog..... IN THE TENACULAR VERNACULAR, I TEACH 'DOGNACULAR,' THE COMMON LANGUAGE BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THEIR DOGS.
I work with dog owner-handlers who are training their own dogs. My business does not include taking in dogs for training by me personally. I specialize in retriever work, offered via private lessons and training groups. The emphasis is on hunt test and hunting prep. I also offer non-competitive obedience lessons and problem solving sessions for all breeds.
In recent years, I have found numerous ways to combine and intertwine my professional and personal interests and background. The TENACULAR DOGS business is derived from my communication professional experience, Masters degree in Information & Communication and favorite hobbies, bird hunting and hunt test training and handling.
